Franklin Community Center
September 20th, 2008 will always be a
memorable day at Franklin Community
Center. On this Saturday where the sun
beamed bright and autumn was in the air;
employees, board members, volunteers and
clients worked together to make the
Center’s 25th Anniversary Celebration an
unforgettable one. The community of
Saratoga truly supported our non-profit
human service agency and we were
delighted by the turn-out. Saratoga’s
Community Federal Credit Union and
Fidelis Care; sponsors of the Open
House; received a great response from
individuals looking for affordable
banking and health care. The day’s
festivities would not have been as
successful if it weren’t for 88.3 The
Saint playing music, The Skidmore
Lacrosse Team dressing up in costumes
provided by Zing-A-Gram Entertainment
and The Saratoga Police Department
sponsoring Operation SAFE CHILD. Each
organization showed how dedicated they
are to helping the community and
Franklin Community Center. We
successfully raised awareness about our
agency and approximately $3,000.00
towards the programs of the Center.
We plan to make this Open House
Celebration an annual event and look
forward to providing basic needs and
services to the less fortunate for
another 25 years. We welcome any
