And we’re off!!

CHANGE:  to make or become different…

It’s crazy to me how six little letters put together just that way can instill panic in some, excitement in others, and the rest to just cross their fingers and hope for the best.  We are in the midst of some big changes here at FCC – changes, or as I like to say, opportunities, that are very exciting.  Jaime Williams (that’s me!) is taking over the development duties at FCC after spending the last 10 years in various roles at our Project Lift program, and most recently taking on the role of Deputy Director for our agency.  I have been fortunate enough to see, first hand, the growth and change of FCC over the years, from the changing of Executive Directors to the updates in technology making us the modern day tech savvy (or at least we think) group that we are now.  Franklin has become my second (and sometimes first) home and I consider myself so fortunate to be here.  I am much different than my predecessor, but  rest assured, the core values of FCC and our staff are the same – we appreciate and value our community.  My personal mission is to maintain the respect of our community; both those who access our services and those who contribute to them, and to continue the growth we have experienced over the years.  My promise is to give it everything I have on a daily basis, and to do so with passion, gusto, and enthusiasm – always keeping our mission and values at the forefront of my mind.  I am very open to feedback, suggestions and assistance.  If you are considering reaching out, then please do; my door (and email) are always open.  And if you can’t tell – I fall into the category of excited when dealing with change…bring it on!

Please stay tuned for the unveiling of yet more changes as we introduce our new Project Lift staff in days to come!

As always, thank you for your time, energy, and support.  I look forward to working diligently for our community and our Center.
