Meet Julie

January 8th, 2015

Hi!  My name is Julie Slovic and I am thrilled to be joining the Franklin Community Center (FCC) team as Food Program & Financial Administrator where I will be responsible for managing and developing the Center’s food pantry operations and assisting in the financial management of the organization. I have Board, management and operation experience with SaratogaArtsFest (SAF) and Accident Victims Funding (AVF).

While at SAF, a not-for-profit organization supporting the arts in Saratoga Springs, I was Board Member, Director of Budget & Operations, Manager of Marketing & Productions and Chairperson for SAF’s major fundraiser, Studio Art Tour and Student Art Exhibit. I remain on the Board of Directors at SAF. Prior to SAF, I co-founded and was Vice President of Finance for AVF.  At AVF, I built and managed a loan portfolio of over $5 million. I look forward to bringing my skills, dedication and enthusiasm to make a strong contribution to both the center and the Saratoga community.

In my spare time I love to run, golf and play tennis, as well as dabble in painting. I have also been involved in numerous community service organizations in the Capital District. The Franklin Community Center has improved the quality of lives in the Saratoga community for over 30 years and it is with great joy that I will be joining the FCC team!
