Annual Coats For Kids Program To Benefit FCC
It’s that time of year! Help local kids stay warm this winter by donating either used or new coats through the annual campaign organized by NEWS10 ABC, Fox23, Capital Region Honda Dealers, and the National Cleaners Association.
Gently used children’s coats can be dropped off at any of the Cudney’s Cleaners locations listed below. If you do not have a gently used coat but would still like to help, you can donate a brand new coat to Saratoga Honda.
The coats that will be donated to FCC will benefit local kids through our Free Store and Holiday Assistance programs.

October 22nd Saratoga Outdoors Community Night to Benefit FCC
We’re thrilled to partner with Saratoga Outdoors for one of their fall Community Nights! Stop in to Saratoga Outdoors (490 Broadway) between 5-8PM on Thursday, October 22nd and support FCC! 30% of sales will be donated to FCC, and we’ll be raffling off a $100 gift card too!

Hoffman Car Wash Annual Fall Food Drive
Does your car need a wash? Visit the Ballston Spa Hoffman Car Wash at 2214 Ballston Ave on Saturday, October 24th or Sunday, October 25th, and bring a donation of a non-perishable food or hygiene item to benefit the FCC Food Pantry, and you’ll receive a FREE car wash!
STEP 1 – Gather one or many non-perishable food items to donate
STEP 2 – Visit your neighborhood Hoffman Car Wash (2214 Ballston Ave) between Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25
STEP 3 – Simply hand your donation to a Hoffman Team Member
STEP 4 – Receive a free Ultimate Car Wash
STEP 5 – Feel great about helping your neighbors and also about your clean car
Drive off with a squeaky clean car wash and know that your donation helps support the FCC Food Pantry!
2nd Annual Art For Good Event to Benefit the FCC Food Pantry
Join the Saratoga Springs Arts District, Inc (SSADI) for the 2nd annual Art for Good event on Saturday, October 24th from 10AM-4PM at the Frederick Allen Elks Lodge at 69 Beekman Street.
Local artists donate their works of art, you pay what you will, and the proceeds will be split between SSADI, the Elks Lodge, and the FCC Food Pantry!

Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga’s Hallowellness Event to Support the FCC Food Pantry
Join Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga on Saturday, October 24th from 1-4PM for a fun-filled, FREE community event – celebrate Halloween with a unique twist of wellness on their farm!
What to Expect:
- Costume Fun for All: Kids (and adults!) are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes. The horses will be dressed up too—get ready for some adorable and spooky sightings!
- Haunted House Adventure: Step inside the Blue Barn transformed into a haunted house. Enter if you dare—it’s always a highlight of the day!
- Engaging Farm Activities: Explore various fun stations set up across the farm designed to entertain and engage the whole family.
- Community Vendors & Facepainting: Enjoy local vendors offering goodies and have your face painted in festive designs.
- Win Prizes: Take part in exciting contests and activities for chances to win THS gear and other great prizes.
- Wellness and Fun Combined: Experience the joy of being outdoors, connecting with horses, and embracing the Halloween spirit in a safe, welcoming environment.
- Help Support our Neighbors: Join us in supporting the Franklin Community Center by taking part in their Food and Funds Drive! Visit them to donate online before our event or view their full list of needed items here.

FCC’s John Falco To Be Featured As Part Of Caffe Lena’s TrueSongs Event, Nov. 6th at 7PM!
TrueSongs is Caffe Lena’s unique and powerful annual show, featuring original songs and first-person stories that reveal the good work being done by local nonprofits, the courage and commitment of everyday people, and the power of songs to open hearts and create understanding.
Over the course of several months, Caffe Lena songwriters have been working with local people who have endured a significant life challenge. Out of that partnership comes a performance like no other: a snapshot of real life struggles, kindness, and determination unfolding all around us. TrueSongs will change the way you see Saratoga.
Held at Universal Preservation Hall on Friday Nov. 6th at 7PM, this year’s show of stories and songs features an athlete who keeps playing despite the loss of his eyesight; a restaurant worker who found his purpose running a food pantry program; a young mom whose health crisis became a foundation to help others; a person creating space for the natural world to flourish right in town, and a young woman who has overcome profound learning challenges to live a full life of music, friendship and independence.
Learn more about FCC’s very own John Falco, and his journey from being a client of our Food Pantry, to a volunteer for the program, to now being the Food Pantry Manager – working to provide resources and dignity to those in situations he persevered through.
2nd Annual Can Drive at Second Sunday Market’s November Event
Join Second Sunday Market for their 2nd annual Mini Market at Whitman Brewing on Sunday, November 8th for a day of art, vintage and handmade items, and good food/drinks.
Attendees are invited to bring canned goods or other non-perishable food or hygiene items to donate to the FCC Food Pantry.
Shop For A Cause at Fashion-A-Fare
Looking to do some early holiday shopping? Or, just want to treat yourself to something special? Be sure to shop in-person or online at Fashion-A-Fare Friday, November 13th through Sunday, November 15th, and 10% of proceeds will benefit the FCC Food Pantry!
50/50 Raffle at Harvey’s Bills Backers
Join us at Saratoga’s official Bills Backers Bar, Harvey’s Restaurant & Bar (14 Phila Street), for every Buffalo Bills game this season for our 50/50 raffle and for other giveaways and raffles!
