This September, Franklin Community Center is inviting our community to take part in a simple but meaningful challenge: Build a Box for Hunger Action Month! The idea is easy. Each day in September, add one suggested item to a box at home. By the end of the month, you’ll have a collection of food and household essentials ready to donate to FCC’s Food Pantry.
Our daily calendar includes much-needed items such as cereal, peanut butter, rice, diapers, canned goods, snacks, pasta, toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent, and more. We know that household and personal care items can place an additional strain on already stretched budgets, which is why this challenge includes both food and essential non-food items. You don’t have to purchase every item on the list – even a few donations can make a difference.
Consider inviting your family, friends, coworkers, classroom, or workplace to join the challenge and collect items throughout the month. At the end of September, simply drop off your box at Franklin Community Center’s Food Pantry, located at 10 Franklin Street in Saratoga Springs.

During the month of September, $1 from all orange Fight Hunger bags purchased at the 95 Weibel Avenue Hannaford location will benefit Franklin Community Center’s Food Pantry!
Replenish your stock of reusable bags, reduce plastic waste, and help raise funds for neighbors in need!

Join the Saratoga Springs school district’s Facilities and Operations department for their 10th annual golf tournament on Saturday, September 12th at Brookhaven Golf Course. All proceeds benefit FCC’s Project Lift program!
Activities include a 50/50 raffle, prize drawings, 1st place team prize, longest drive, closest to the pin, and a putting contest. Grab and go lunch will be available at the turn, with a barbecue buffet dinner at the conclusion.

Join the Kelley Family Charitable Foundation in their annual Tackle Hunger Food Drive and support the FCC Food Pantry! Non-perishable food donations will be collected at every Saratoga NFL Flag Football game day between September 12th and September 30th. Let’s tackle hunger!

Join us at Saratoga’s official Bills Backers Bar, Harvey’s Restaurant & Bar (14 Phila Street), for every Buffalo Bills game this season for our 50/50 raffle and for other giveaways and raffles!
Go Bills! Go FCC!
