Ninth Annual Toys for Toga 2021 kicks off from November 1 through December 6
Toys for Toga is a toy drive and fundraising effort hosted by local businesses in the Saratoga Community to ensure children in the community have the best holiday season possible. Partners include DeCrescente Distributing Company, Druthers Brewing Company, Deathwish Coffee and many more local businesses. All the money raised and toys donated are then divided equally among Franklin Community Center, CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services and Mechanicville Area Community Services.
Save Our Locals 2021 Campaign to benefit Franklin! November-December
Support our local Saratoga County businesses and enter for a chance to win! We’re excited to announce that Franklin is part of the Save Our Locals 2021 Campaign and donations of $20.21 or more are eligible for entry into the Saratoga County Chamber’s #SaveOurLocals2021 campaign! Simply forward your electronic donation receipt to [email protected] for entry and a chance to win! Contest runs from Friday, October 15 to Friday, December 31.
Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for December
Franklin Community Center has been selected as the December beneficiary of the Hannaford Supermarkets “Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program”.
For the whole month, for every reusable Community Bag purchased at the Hannaford store, located at 11 Trieble Ave. Ballston Spa, Franklin Community Center will receive a $1 donation.
Thankful Thursday at the Saratoga Winery December 16th
Enjoy a meal or drink and give back to a worthy cause! On Thursday, December 16th, we are partnering with Saratoga Winery as they give back to our community. All day long you’ll be able to add a donation to your bill that goes directly to Franklin. 10% of all gift store purchases also go to support Franklin.
Saratoga SantaCon Scavenger Hunt December 18th
This is Saratoga SantaCON’s 10th anniversary event, and the organizers are pulling out all the sleigh stops. In addition to the bar crawl, this year’s Con will also attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest scavenger hunt in the world. Buy your $10 ticket ahead of time, print it out, and bring it with you to registration, which will begin at the Soundbar at noon on the 18th. Also bring five non-perishable food items; 100 percent of food collected and funds raised will be donated to the Franklin Community Center.
Holiday Train At Home Virtual Concert December 18th
Attention families and holiday music lovers!! The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train concert will be going virtual again this year.
The CP “Holiday Train at Home” virtual concert will be held on Saturday, December 18th at 6 p.m. MT/8 p.m. ET and will last for approximately 1 hour and 15min. Headlining the concert will be Steven Page and The Strumbellas, with featured performances by Tanika Charles, Keb Mo, The Trews, Aysanabee, Sierra Noble and the Odds.
The show will be available to live-stream via our Facebook page (facebook.com/canadian.pacific), YouTube and cpr.ca/holidaytrain. The concert will remain available there for future viewing until the end of the year.
