To close out 2023, with a continued focus on community, Broadview Federal Credit Union will donate more than $380,000 to help alleviate hunger and food insecurity throughout New York State. This end of year donation highlights Broadview’s ongoing commitment to fighting hunger in the communities it serves, including the Capital Region, Binghamton, Buffalo, and Syracuse.
Franklin Community Center is proud to be amongst the organizations to received additional year end funding. This collaboration is more than just a partnership; it’s a commitment to building a better, more compassionate world. FCC was visited by Broadview employees, Carin Urban and Aimee Vaughan, who presented a $5,000 check in support of Franklin’s emergency food pantry.
Broadview will distribute $380,000 in short-term investments to 46 food pantries, rescue missions, and shelters across the credit union’s geographic footprint to help the nonprofits stock their shelves and support organizations who focus on feeding individuals and families in the communities Broadview serves.
