Franklin Community Center hosted 2 corporate and community volunteer groups during the month of March, and both provided support across a variety of our programs and services.
- 3 representatives from Athleta joined 3 of our FCC program volunteers to organize and sort our inventory of spring and summer clothing for the Franklin Free Store. By sorting all of the items by category and size and organizing them into clearly marked bins, their efforts helped set up the Free Store to be able to easily carry out the seasonal clothing swap and provide great options for our shoppers.
- We also wanted to highlight our partnership with AIM Services this month. Members of the prevocational program at AIM volunteer at FCC every week, and during March they expanded their efforts by assisting with 2 new projects – assembling our CLYNK bag packages and organizing and setting up the Free Shoe Shop on the Food Pantry porch. Both projects helped FCC carry out our mission, and we are grateful for their efforts and are proud of all they accomplished!
