Franklin Community Center hosted 4 corporate and community volunteer groups during the month of August, and each provided support across a variety of our programs and services.
- 11 volunteers from Grace Fellowship joined us for their annual summer service project at FCC, and assisted in a variety of ways, including organizing painting supplies, organizing donations and restocking at the Free Store, and exterior cleanup at the Food Pantry.
- 6 representatives from Target assisted Student and Family Services’ School Supplies initiative by purchasing items and assembling them into 10 fully stocked backpacks.
- 5 employees from Saratoga Hilton joined us at Project Lift’s Back To School Night, and assisted with passing out pizza and ice cream, distributing new sneakers and socks, and with coordinating free haircuts.
- 4 representatives from Saratoga Private Wealth also assisted with the Back To School Night event by helping us clean up and re-set all of the school supplies so they are ready to be selected from by those in need in our community.
