Franklin Community Center hosted 3 different community and corporate volunteer groups during the month of November, and each provided support across a variety of our programs and services.
- Students from BOCES’ School To Work Program lent a hand at the Franklin Free Store, helping to clean and organize the space for the benefit of our donors, shoppers, and volunteers.
- Representatives from Pioneer Bank joined us for a packing project to benefit our Holiday Assistance Program. They purchased hygiene and personal care items and packed them into 75 kits to become holiday stocking stuffers for teens, providing extra goodies to an age group that is often forgotten at the holidays.
- Our friends and frequent volunteers over at Salvatore Dental helped spread the holiday cheer in our administrative building by wrapping doors and windows. Their efforts in decorating our space will brighten spirits for so many of the donors and shoppers who visit our building this season for the Holiday Shop.
