Franklin Community Center Greets Addition of Three New Board Members

At their recent board meeting, Franklin Community Center (FCC) voted on the addition of three new members to its board of directors. Being an active force in Saratoga County for over 40 years, the organization has a long history of providing basic necessities and services to individuals and families. Through its various programs, FCC strives to improve the quality of life and foster a sense of neighborhood, community and family for all people.

Saratoga resident Matthew D’Abate embarks on his inaugural three-year term on the board, bringing a wealth of expertise and dedication to FCC. As the president of Amsure, a subsidiary of the Adirondack Trust Company, Matt has provided invaluable assistance with FCC’s insurance requirements for over two decades, offering keen insight into the organization’s programs and services. Matt’s commitment to FCC extends beyond his professional role, as he has actively sponsored and participated in numerous fundraising events, including supporting families through holiday assistance initiatives. His extensive background in finance, insurance, risk management, human resources, and administration positions him as a valuable addition to the FCC Board. Moreover, Matt’s involvement with other local boards, such as Saratoga Bridges Foundation, Wellspring, and Discover Saratoga, underscores his dedication to community service. His outstanding caliber and multifaceted experience make him an esteemed member of our board, and we are privileged to welcome him aboard.

We also welcome Lauren Mallon for her first three-year term. Lauren serves as a Vice President at Graypoint LLC, a distinguished wealth management and financial planning firm. With her extensive experience in finance, Lauren brings valuable insights to the board, particularly in asset management. Lauren’s commitment to community service is deeply ingrained, stemming from a lifetime of engagement in volunteer activities. Her unwavering dedication to making a difference, coupled with her leadership abilities and optimistic outlook, promises to be a tremendous asset to FCC. We eagerly anticipate the contributions she will make towards furthering our mission and serving the needs of our community.

We are honored to welcome Alessandra Bange Hall to our board for her initial three-year tenure. Alessandra brings with her a rich history of mission-driven volunteer work, having been actively involved with organizations such as the Saratoga Hospital Flower and Fruit Mission, Glens Falls Youth Center, Jake’s Help From Heaven, and the World Fair Trade Organization. Her unwavering commitment to the Saratoga Springs community and her longstanding dedication to assisting underserved populations make Alessandra an invaluable addition to FCC. With 14 years of experience as a small business owner, she offers a unique perspective and deep-seated concern for the well-being of our community. We are grateful to have Alessandra’s contributions and are confident that her passion and expertise will greatly benefit FCC as we continue our mission to serve and support those in need.
