Franklin Community Center is hiring a PART TIME Prevention Program Assistant. This position works with our Project Lift team at our after-school prevention program within the Saratoga Springs City School District elementary schools. Qualified applicants will:
- Assist in planning and implementing a comprehensive after school program for children, particularly around issues of drug and alcohol prevention
- Participate in on-going evaluation of youth programming and individual youth needs
- Maintain and promote positive social interaction and constructive behavior by directing children through discussions/activities that will help them grow in self-direction, self-esteem and building skills
- Assist in communicating information regarding enrolled children’s status, problems or needs with the Family Outreach Coordinator
