As funds are available, Franklin Community Center’s Emergency Assistance (or “Assistance to Individuals”) Program provides one-time emergency financial support to individuals and families experiencing a hardship or crisis that could result in loss of housing, heat, or other essential needs.
FCC is a proud partner in Family Emergency Assistance of Northern Saratoga County (North FEASST), a collaborative network of local agencies and faith-based organizations working together to support residents facing financial hardship. Through pooled resources and pledged funding, North FEASST’s primary goal is to help prevent eviction, utility shutoffs, and other urgent crises by providing coordinated financial assistance on a case-by-case basis.
Individuals and families seeking assistance are referred to CAPTAIN Community Human Services, the designated intake agency. CAPTAIN conducts a phone or in-person intake to assess the situation and then coordinates with North FEASST partners to identify available resources and provide appropriate support.
