Am I eligible for a food assistance package?

  • Yes, any resident who lives within Saratoga County may receive assistance.

What is a food assistance package?

  • Our food pantry provides a 3-5 day supply of groceries per person once a month.
  • The amount provided is determined by the number in the household and follows the “My Plate” Model to ensure nutritionally balanced meal packages.

What do I need to do?

  • Please call (518) 587-9826 and press option 1.  Our staff and volunteers will assist you with the initial intake process (approx. 15 minutes) and walk through how to choose and place your order.
  • Once you are registered in our system, you may simply place your order by phone.  You will be assigned an appointment for your order pick-up. Please specify if you are using a vehicle for pick-up, transporting via public transportation or walking.
  • Come to the Food Pantry at your appointed time to pick up your order.  We suggest parking in front of 10 Franklin Street (look for the white picket fence) and you may use our convenient wheeled carts to carry and load your order into your vehicle.
  • We strongly prefer that you place your order ahead of your visit to the Food Pantry. It may take up to a half hour to prepare a food assistance package.

When can I order?

  • Our Food Pantry is open Monday – Thursday from 9AM to 3:30PM.  Orders may be placed up until 3:00PM for day-of pick ups.
