There is limited space inside for the waiting area, so we recommend dressing accordingly for the weather.

DONATION INFO: Donations BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All donations must be in-season, clean, smoke-free and pet hair-free clothing. Thank you!
Please limit to 2 bags or small boxes per appointment.
- Monday – Thursday by online appointment only – Make your donation appointment
- Donation Items accepted:
- Clothing and footwear (in-season, clean, smoke-free and pet hair-free) for adults, youth, children, infant and newborn.
- Household goods such as dishes, silverware, glassware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, and small kitchen appliances.
- Decorative items accepted such as art, jewelry, collectibles, framed artwork, and various seasonal decorative items.
- Linens, comforters, blankets and bedding of all sizes must be washed and stain-free and preferably packaged in a see-through bag.
- Toys, games, puzzles and children’s books are also accepted if clean, all pieces included and are in good to excellent shape.
- NOT Accepted Items
- Electronics such as large screen TVs and computers are NOT accepted.
- Furniture items are NOT accepted.

About us
The Franklin Free Store, located at 101 Washington Street on the corner of Marvin Alley, is FCC’s donation and distribution center. The Free Store provides a valuable resource for the community by offering a place where people can donate their gently used clothing and household items. These donations are then made available at no cost to shoppers who are struggling to make ends meet. By facilitating this exchange, the Franklin Free Store not only helps those in need but also promotes a culture of generosity and sustainability within the community.
The Franklin Free Store is sustained and operated by volunteers who donate their time and energy to a cause they believe in. Join us as a volunteer and be a part of something great!

Furniture Resources
Franklin Community Center does not collect furniture donations or distribute furniture donations to those in need. FCC instead works to connect those looking to donate and those in need of items with local resources that do provide those services.
