SHOPPING INFO: The store is open for shopping Wednesday – Friday from 9:00 am – 11:40 am BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. You must call 518.587.9826 to make an appointment that will serve as your voucher for shopping.  Only 1 member of a household is allowed in and 2 appointments will be scheduled every 20 minutes. You must be wearing a face mask to enter the store.

101 Washington Street A.K.A “The Free Store” is Franklin’s donation center. Located at 101 Washington Street, on the corner of Marvin Alley, the Free Store accepts gently used and in-season clothing, small household items (coffee pot, dishes, glasses, etc.) and coats during the winter season. We cannot accept electronic items (tv’s, dvd players, computers, etc.) or large furniture items.

The Free Store is run solely by volunteers and will be closed on days when volunteers are not available.

Updated Food Pantry Hours

The food pantry is open Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 3:30 pm by phone appointment only. If you are in need of food call 518.587.9826 to arrange a time to pick up a meal package.
