The Free Store Donation Center

SPECIAL NOTICE: OUR FREE STORE IS CLOSED FOR DONATIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The store will open for shopping on 7/1/2020 and will be open Wednesday – Friday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. You must call 518.587.9826 to make an appointment that will serve as your voucher for shopping.  Only 1 member of a household is allowed in and 2 appointments will be scheduled every 20 minutes. You must be wearing a face mask to enter the store.

 

101 Washington Street A.K.A “The Free Store” is Franklin’s donation center. Located at 101 Washington Street, on the corner of Marvin Alley, the Free Store accepts gently used and in-season clothing, small household items (coffee pot, dishes, glasses, etc.) and coats during the winter season. We cannot accept electronic items (tv’s, dvd players, computers, etc.) or large furniture items.

Donations are accepted on Tuesdays between 9 am – 1 pm. The first Saturday of each month, you can drop off your in-season clothing in designated bins at Saratoga and Wilton branches of Cudney’s Cleaners.

Shopping is on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 am – 2 pm – YOU MUST RECEIVE A VOUCHER FROM MAIN OFFICE BEFORE ENTERING FREE STORE.

The Free Store is run solely by volunteers and will be closed on days when volunteers are not available.
