The Free Store is currently taking donations of SPRING/SUMMER clothing (long sleeves, tshirts, shorts, pants, sneakers, sandals).

No WINTER clothing will be accepted at this time. Thank you!

SHOPPING INFO: No appointment needed to shop

The Free Store located at 101 Washington is open during the following hours:

          • Wednesday 9am – 12pm noon
          • Thursday 9am – 12pm noon
          • Friday, 9am – 12pm noon

DONATION INFO:  Donations BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (2 bag limit please)

          • Monday 10am – 12pm
          • Tuesday 10:00am – 12:00pm

Please call Debbie at 518.587.9826 x221 to schedule your appointment for drop-off. Tax receipts for donated items can be picked up at the time of donation.

The Free Store, located at 101 Washington Street on the corner of Marvin Alley, is Franklin’s donation center. The Free Store accepts gently used and in-season clothing, small household items (coffee pot, dishes, glasses, etc.) and coats during the winter season. Electronic items (tv’s, dvd players, computers, etc.) or large furniture items are NOT accepted.

We are grateful to Cudney’s Launderers & Dry Cleaners for accepting donations on Saturdays at their South Broadway and West Avenue locations.  All clothing must be bagged and please observe the 2 bag limit.

The Free Store is sustained and operated by volunteers who donate their time and energy to a cause they believe in. Join us as a volunteer and be a part of something great!
