PLEASE READ
After completing the volunteer application, the next step in the onboarding process is the new volunteer orientation session. These sessions are held quarterly, if our programs are in need of new volunteers. You will be contacted a few weeks before the session with more information. Due to the sessions happening infrequently, we appreciate your patience! If you'd like to support FCC in the meantime, please email our Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator, Julianna Luciano, at [email protected] to discuss off-site options (ex. hosting a food drive, sponsoring kids through our holiday assistance program, hosting a fundraiser, etc).
Personal Information
Please note that some of our volunteer opportunities require personal background checks, some including checks of the State Central Register, and/or DMV records review. This helps to protect both the volunteer and the children, individuals and families that they may be working with. Background checks are completed at the expense of Franklin Community Center.
